Peekstamp — Terms of Service
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These terms apply to the Peekstamp desktop app and Peekstamp Pro ("Peekstamp"), provided by Sloth Lab Inc., a Canadian corporation based in Ontario ("Sloth Lab", "we"). By installing or using Peekstamp, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for that company.
What Peekstamp Does
Peekstamp checks pre-release game builds made with Godot or Unity and reports what can be read from them, with suggestions for fixing what it finds. Peekstamp Pro adds a local test using open-source decompilers, a scan for secret strings, HTML reports, and timestamp records.
Your Builds Only
Use Peekstamp only on builds you own or are authorized to analyze. By scanning a build, you confirm that you have that right.
- Do not use Peekstamp on another person's game or software without their permission.
- Do not use Peekstamp or its results to copy, redistribute, or infringe anyone else's work.
- Do not use Peekstamp or its bundled components to get around encryption or other access controls, and do not run bundled components outside the app.
- Do not analyze engine runtime files, such as UnityPlayer. Peekstamp is meant for your own project code and content.
- Follow the license terms of your game engine and of any third-party content in your build.
Your License
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Peekstamp under these terms. The free scan needs no payment or account.
A Peekstamp Pro purchase is a one-time payment for a license key usable on up to 5 devices. It includes the updates we release for this app, for as long as we offer it. It does not include separate products or paid services we may offer later.
The app checks your license once every 7 days. If it cannot check for 30 days, Pro features stop until it can, and the free scan keeps working.
You may not share or resell your license key, or remove or bypass license checks. We own Peekstamp, apart from the third-party components below.
Payments and Refunds
Purchases are processed through Stripe and appear as "Sold through Link", under the payment terms shown at checkout. Prices are shown before you pay, and taxes are calculated at checkout.
Refunds are covered by our refund policy: slothlab.app/en/peekstamp/refund. If your purchase is refunded or charged back, your license ends.
Results Are a Diagnostic
Peekstamp reports what it finds at the time of the scan. It may miss things or report something incorrectly, and new tools may read what it reported as locked. A result does not guarantee that a build cannot be read or copied, and following a suggested fix does not guarantee an outcome. Back up your project before making changes.
Timestamp Records
A timestamp record shows that a particular set of file hashes existed at a certain time. It does not show who created or owns the files. It is not a copyright registration, and we do not promise how any court, platform, or other party will treat it. It relies on public OpenTimestamps servers that we do not control. Nothing in Peekstamp is legal advice.
Third-Party Components
Peekstamp includes open-source tools, such as ilspycmd and a modified build of GDRE Tools, which run on your computer under their own license terms. Those terms apply to those components, and nothing here limits your rights under them. The GDRE Tools and Godot projects do not endorse Peekstamp.

To the extent the law allows, Peekstamp is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
Limit of Liability
Québec consumers: this section does not apply to you.
To the extent the law allows, Sloth Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or claims arising from copying of your work. Our total liability for any claim about Peekstamp is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Peekstamp in the 12 months before the claim and US$29. Ending Use
You can stop using Peekstamp at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, including the "Your Builds Only" section. We may change or stop offering Peekstamp. If we permanently stop license checks, we will first release an update that lets Pro run without them. We do not promise updates after that.
Changes to These Terms
Québec consumers: the last two sentences of this section do not apply to you. We will follow the notice and refusal rules of Québec law.
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Paying customers get 30 days' written notice of material changes and may refuse them. If you refuse, you can keep using the version you have under the terms you accepted.
Governing Law
Québec consumers: this section does not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Ontario handle disputes. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law where you live and may use your local courts.
